about

Ahhh.. I had forgotten the feeling of 'oh no, I've got nothing'.. I think this is the first time this year it really hit me.

I tried everything! I finished Yakuza 3! I started Yakuza 4! I listened to the new Ghost album! I had a horrible reduced sandwich from Tesco that knocked me out for a few days...

But, that aside, yes, it was that feeling of having no idea where to start, or even what I wanted to do.. By Friday I kinda had something, but when you start on the wrong foot, it is easy to get all 'meh' about it. So I thought, 'just mix it, push it through the mastering then start again'.

And so, I started again. I tried to remember that when you are at a low, just rely on instincts, habits, the tricks you do all the time, just do those, relax, it is ok.

So here we are, not sure how I feel, but I got something done.

As a bonus I've also put that first track as a b-side <3

about

Alone Bristol, UK

Retro games consoles filtered through digital delays and drum machines. Layered with guitars and some distortion. Alone paints a post-something slice of hazy danceable sounds pulled from late night memories of virtual adventures.
