2010 Remaster. In 2004, when I was writing this track I worked twilight shifts building showers. Each shower had a pack of stickers that went on the finished product. On those stickers was one that did not get used as it simply said 'No Data'. I liked it. It was a simple phrase that sort of implied a lack of connection, drifting out in the cold vastness with your life support blinking out. Or just a printing error.
